What NoMap is
NoMap is an ocean-corridor overview tool. It is not a navigational product, booking engine, or personal account service.
Port and route queries
When you search ports or preview routes, your selections (port ids and corridor geometry summaries) are sent to our servers to compute distances and estimates. We do not require an account or email.
Map tiles
The planner loads basemap imagery and labels from third-party tile providers (including Esri ArcGIS Online and CARTO). Your browser requests those tiles directly; those providers may process IP and request metadata under their own policies.
Local preferences
Map style preference may be stored in your browser's localStorage (key nomap-map-style). Clear site data in your browser to remove it.
AI analysis
Optional corridor analysis may send a slim route summary (ports, distance, passages, baseline heuristics — not full map geometry) to an AI provider to produce transit/risk narrative. Do not enter personal data into the planner; the product is not designed for it.
Logs and abuse controls
Servers may retain short-lived operational logs (including IP-based rate limiting) to keep the service available and resist abuse.
