Privacy and data-protection requests may be sent to info@nomap.app or to the registered address above.

2. Scope

This notice describes personal-data processing associated with the public NoMap website and public NoMap services. Customer-specific project environments may be subject to additional contractual privacy and data-processing terms.

3. Data we may process

Public project, port, route and geospatial reference information is not treated as personal data unless it contains information relating to an identifiable person.

4. Purposes

5. Legal bases where GDPR applies

Depending on the processing, the legal basis may include performance of a contract or steps requested before entering a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and securing NoMap, or consent where specifically requested.

6. Service providers and recipients

NoMap may use selected hosting, infrastructure, mapping, security, communications and professional-service providers. Personal data is disclosed only where needed for the stated purposes and subject to appropriate contractual and security controls.

7. International transfers

If personal data is transferred outside Switzerland or the EEA, NoMap uses safeguards required by applicable law, such as adequacy decisions or appropriate contractual safeguards where required.

8. Retention

Personal data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, contractual or operational requirements, security and audit needs, or applicable legal retention duties. Retention periods may vary by data category and customer agreement.

9. Your rights

Depending on applicable law and your circumstances, you may have rights to information and access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, and complaint to a competent supervisory authority.

10. Cookies, analytics and tracking

The public NoMap launch site is designed to avoid advertising and cross-site tracking. If non-essential analytics or similar technologies are added later, this notice and any required consent mechanism will be updated before use.

11. Mobile permissions

NoMap requests device permissions only where required for released functionality. The first-release design avoids background location, contacts access and advertising tracking. Store-specific privacy disclosures are maintained to reflect the actual released mobile binaries and third-party SDKs.

12. Security

NoMap uses technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the service and risk. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes

This notice may be updated as NoMap services and processing activities change. The current version is published on this page with an updated revision date.
